Mobile phone answering service
Divert the calls you can't take to a receptionist who always picks up. Same mobile number, no voicemail, every job captured — £89 a month.
Most trade businesses run off one mobile
No landline, no office, no one to pick up. The phone rings while you're up a ladder, under a sink or driving between jobs — and by the time you call back, the customer has booked someone else.
A mobile phone answering service fixes it without changing how anyone contacts you. Your number stays exactly the same. Calls you can't take get diverted to a receptionist who answers instantly.
TradeRing's receptionist is AI, so there's no queue and no closing time. It answers with your business name, finds out what the job is, and sends it to you as a lead card.
How it works
- Keep your existing mobile number — customers ring it as normal
- Dial a short divert code once on your handset
- Unanswered calls roll to your AI receptionist instead of voicemail
- It qualifies the caller and books a callback if they want one
- You get a text and a lead card with the whole conversation
- Tap once to send the customer a follow-up message
Why it beats voicemail
- Most callers never leave a voicemail — they ring the next trade
- Voicemail tells you nothing about the job or how urgent it is
- No one hears voicemail until the end of the day
- An answered call feels like a business that's on top of things
- Urgent jobs get flagged the moment the call ends
Answer every call, or only the ones you miss
Some trades want the receptionist to take everything, so the phone never interrupts a job. Others want to grab the calls they can and let the receptionist catch the rest.
Both work. You pick when you sign up, and you can change it whenever you like — just tell us and we'll switch it over.
Mobile answering questions
Can you answer calls to my mobile?
Yes. That's exactly what TradeRing is built for. You set a divert on your mobile so unanswered calls go to your AI receptionist instead of voicemail. Your number stays the same.
How do I divert my mobile to the answering service?
It's a short code you dial once on your handset — we send you the exact one for your network when you sign up. You can divert only when busy or unanswered, or divert every call.
Can it answer only when I don't pick up?
Yes. You choose: the receptionist can answer every call, or only step in when you can't get to the phone within a few rings.
Does it work on any UK network?
Yes — EE, O2, Vodafone, Three and the networks that run on them all support call diverts.
Will I still see who called?
You get more than that: the caller's number, their name, what the job is, where it is, how urgent, and a full transcript of what was said.
